Beijing: Lok Sabha Speaker Manohar Joshi on January 6 exchanged views on ways to step-up India-China bilateral relations with a senior leader of Chinese Parliament and said the countries can resolve their differences adhering to the Pancha Sheel principles.

During a banquet hosted by Jiang Zenghua, vice chairman of the Chinese Parliament National People's Congress (NPC), Joshi said India and China, the world's most populous countries, can resolve their differences through mutual cooperation adhering to the Pancha Sheel principles.

The leaders also discussed the fight against terrorism, promotion of tourism and increase of bilateral trade.

The lunch was attended by the visiting Members of Parliament, Chairman of the India-China Eminent Persons Group, R L Bhatia, MP, Indian Ambassador to China, S.
