A Vedic therapy to fine tune body, mind & soul

But, today these very Vedic names are mantras to cure various human ailments as per the research and development of the Ojas Foundation, Chennai.

"In today's stressful situation, we encounter innumerous problems in life – both mentally and physically. Ojas Foundation has a cure for the modern man through the Vedic mantras," Ojas Foundation founder and chairman pandit Tatwamasi Dixit told Indiainfo.com in an exclusive interview.

"Listening to the Vedic mantras, proper meditation, controlling stress of the mind, maintaining proper diet and exercise are the basis of treatment in our holistic approach in curing the body, mind and soul," he explained.

"Tension, stress, urgency have become an integral component of life today. This naturally leads to heart attack, blood pressure, mental depression, sugar, ulcer, migraine and obesity. In order to cure and avoid the above disorders the Vedic mantras have remedies," he claimed.

Pandit Tatwamasi Dixit, who was initiated into the Vedic scriptures and knowledge early in his life through his scholar father Srinivas Dikshit, has been practicing this system of cure for over 20 years now. Using the powers of the vedic mantra, he strives to cure ailments related to every part of the human body.

"The Vedas are a vast ocean of knowledge. The recital of Vedic mantras with the proper enunciation can cure each and every ailment for a healthy and normal life," he said.

The foundation through an indepth and intensive research of the powers of Vedas is trying to seek remedies for all abnormalities and malfunctioning related to the human body.

"Like the nectar discovered by Lord Krishna in deep sea, the foundation's research has achieved wonderful medicinal benefits for various human ailments," Dixit claimed.

According to pandit Dixit each ailment relating to the human body can be cured by a specific Vedic mantra.

"While the stress in other medicines - especially in the allopathic system - is to treat the physical aspects of the ailment, the Vedic system of treatment cleanses the human system through the body, mind and soul with manifold benefits for a holistic approach towards a healthy outlook to life," he said.

Prevention is better than cure and the Vedic mantras can help one lead a very healthy and active life, according to pandit Dixit.

"While allopathic medicines cannot prevent a relapse, Vedic treatment can find a permanent cure and solution to the modern day ailments," he explained.

Under this new concept of medication and treatment, Ojas has come out with CDs on treatment for pregnant women and heart patients

'Ojas Life Energy for the Expectant Mother' a CD for expectant women, contains Vedic mantras for the pregnant woman and the growing foetus in the womb.

'Ojas Life Energy for Healthy Heart' is the CD for heart patients with information on Vedic cure and preventive first-aid tips.

Dixit is also the chairman of Kayakalpa clinic, Info Vedic Services Ltd and Urjala Constultants. With deeply interested in learning about the curative and medicinal aspects of Veda, he underwent higher studies in Philippines.

Dixit has travelled far and wide propagating his holistic therapies in Germany, Singapore, Philippines, Muscat, Austria, Malaysia and Nepal.

Dr Gita Arjun, former gyaecologist at the US, is closely associated with the research activities of the Ojas Foundation as a co-founder. Dr Geetha had her higher education in gynaecology at the St Francis Hospital in the US. She is a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Fellow of American College of Obstetricians and Gyaencologist. She at present is successfully treating pregnant women through the Vedic mantras route at the Ojas Foundation.

The foundation proposes to come out with a CD for the improvement of memory power, publish a book on heart ailments and general health, as well as conduct conferences on heart diseases and Vedic remedies.
