Imphal: United Committee Manipur (UCM), an apex body of social organisations in the state, declared indefinite 'emergency' in Manipur from midnight tonight (Jan 14) to prevent communal disharmony and clashes in view of the 'provocative' statement of NSCN-IM (National Socialist Council of Nagalim) leaders holding peace talks with the Centre in Delhi, UCM president Sapamcha Jadumani said.
