US must help offset India's conventional edge: Pak
Islamabad: Ahead of his US visit, Pakistan Foreign Minister Khurshid Kasuri has said Washington should play a role in reducing conventional disparity between India and Pakistan in order to stop further nuclearisation of the subcontinent.
Kasuri's US visit on INS issue advanced by 10 days
Islamabad: As pressure mounted over the issue of US directive to thousands of Pakistanis in America to register under the Immigration and Naturalisation Services (INS), Foreign Minister Khurshid Muhammad Kasuri has advanced by 10 days his scheduled visit to Washington to plead with the Bush administration to go "soft" on Pakistani nationals.
'Ministerial visits may enhance Indo-Bangla ties'
Dhaka: Admitting "some ups and downs" in Indo-Bangla relations following recent statements by Indian leadership about the presence of illegal Bangladeshis in the country, Dhaka has said it hoped that exchange of visits by Ministers from both sides might take place for improvement of ties.
