Bangalore: Some people at a Christian congregation in Mysore city were allegedly
assaulted by 10 people, stated to be Bajrang Dal activists, police said.
The exact number of people who were targetted was not known. The sources said four
members of the group had been arrested and police were on the look-out for six
others.
Members of the group, however, alleged that the priest was trying to convert
people.
The sources said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Ramdas, who went to the
police station, along with workers of the party and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), in
protest against the police action, was arrested for a brief period and released
