New Delhi: Oil Sector Officers' Association (OSOA), a representative body of public
sector oil companies, on January 28 served notice of an indefinite strike beginning
from the day bids are invited to sell its stake in Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd
(BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL).
"We have served a notice of complete strike in the oil PSUs (Public Sector
Undertakings) from the date the government commences the disinvestment process
(invitation of bids)," OSOA convenor Ashok Singh told reporters in New Delhi.
