Musharraf may use Russia visit to better India ties
Islamabad: Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf is expected to send a message to
India through the Russian leadership that he was ready for improving Indo-Pak ties.

Bangkok: India on February 1 said a war against Iraq should be avoided and no
country should take unilateral stand in the matter, which should only be decided by the United Nations.

Bangkok: Carrying forward their fight against terrorism, India and Thailand on
February 1 called for concerted international action to deal with the scourge and decided to institutionalise bilateral security co-operation while seeking to
expedite conclusion of extradition treaty between the two countries.

Bangkok: Expressing disappointment at the United States' approach towards Pakistan, India on February 1 said the nations, which had sworn to fight terrorism should not help any state that patronises the menace directly or indirectly.
