New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on February 7 accused Hurriyat
Conference of speaking the language of separatism and charged the People's
Democratic Party (PDP)-Congress government in Jammu and Kashmir with being soft on
the organisation.
"The Hurriyat is speaking the language of Pakistan-backed militant organisations.
This is due to soft attitude of the Jammu and Kashmir government. This will
demoralise the people," party spokesman Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told
reporters.
He said it was high time the state government took steps to end anti-national
activities of such groups in Jammu and Kashmir.
