Jalgaon: Mahant Ramchandradas Paramhans, president of Ayodhya's Ram Janam Bhoomi Nyas and Mandir Nirman Samiti has said that the "Ram temple would be built at any cost".

Talking to Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists at Jalgaon Railway station on February 7, he said, "The samiti had become fed-up with the struggle to build the temple. It would be built within 18 months."

A file photograph of Ram Janam Bhoomi Nyas president Paramhans Paramhans, who arrived at Jalgaon on February 7 to attend the 1,008 "kundi yagna" taking place in Chopda district, said the battle had been going on for the past 55 years and therefore, "We will not give the government any more time."

He told the activists that "for the past 55 years he is knocking doors of the courts and even he has gone to jail a number of times" and reiterated his demand that the "temple must be built now".
