US agrees JK infiltration is up, but can't act
Washington: Despite agreeing with India that cross-border infiltration into Jammu and Kashmir has again increased after a temporary drop in June last year, the US finds it "increasingly difficult" to reconcile with Pakistan's support to terror due to its co-operation in US-led war in Afghanistan, a leading American newspaper reported on February 8.
US urges Iran not to interfere with Iraq war
Washington: American officials have held a private meeting with Iranian Envoys in Europe to seek a pledge of humanitarian help and an assurance that the Tehran government will not interfere in possible US-led war on Iraq.
