Vadodara: Two persons were killed and seven others injured in police firing after a
group of tribals attacked a police station at Kawant village in Vadodara district
late February 10 night, police said on February 11.
The tribals attacked the police station demanding release of four accused from the
custody, police sources said.
Police had to fire 15 rounds in which two persons were killed and seven persons were
injured, police said, adding the injured have been admitted to the nearby hospitals
while two of them were shifted to SSG Hospital.
On getting the information, Vadodara DSP Piyush Patel has rushed to the village,
police added.
