Kulu (Himachal Pradesh): Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani on February 12 ruled out
any dialogue with Pakistan till it stops cross-border terrorism and shuts down
terrorist training camps even as he urged the Western countries to stop financial
and military aid to Islamabad.
Launching Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s campaign for the coming Assembly elections
in the state, he said there was no question of holding any talks with
Islamabad "till it stops cross-border terrorism and shuts down terrorist training
camps there".

Asserting that it has been conclusively proved that the five terrorists who attacked
Parliament on December 13, 2001, were Pakistanis, Advani said even foreign
dignitaries while following a formality of calling for a dialogue between the two
countries "agreed with our point of view".
He said while Pakistani President General Pervez Musharraf has changed his tone and
tenor due to international pressure following the September 11 attacks, he has not
changed his conduct and continues to describe terrorist strikes in Jammu and Kashmir
and rest of India as "freedom struggle".
Advani asked the international community to stop financial and military aid to
countries encouraging terrorism.
"Pakistan will be paralysed and cannot survive if Western countries stop their
military and financial aid," he added.
