Jammu: Three civilians and a militant were killed in two separate incidents of violence in Udhampur district of Jammu division since February 11, official sources said on February 12.

A group of militants barged into the houses of civilians at Daram village in Dhamkund area of Udhampur district on February 11 night and gunned down three persons identified as Mohammad Shafi Malik, Farid Ahmed and Abdul Rashid, the sources said.

There were apparently killed as militants suspected them of working as informers to security forces, the sources said.

In another incident, security forces killed an ultra in an encounter at Sumber village of Udhampur district on February 11, they said.
