Ahmedabad: Two Punjab ministers and a senior Congress MLA who visited Gujarat for
election campaigning for the December 12 Assembly polls have been named in "the sex
racket" busted by the city crime branch, according to Gujarat Minister of State for
Home Amit Shah on February 16.
In a hurriedly called press conference Shah, said that the three Congressmen, two
ministers - Pratap Singh Bajwa and Amarjeet Singh Samra and MLA Arvinder Singh
Lovely, during the party campaign in the city stayed in a five star hotel and
allegedly indulged in immoral activities.
Though their names have not figured in the First Information Report (FIR),
interrogation of a driver and a hotel employee arrested in this connection has
revealed their connection and activities during their stay.
