Bangladesh bans extremist outfit funded by Dawood
Dhaka: In the first crackdown on an extremist Islamic outfit by the Khaleda Zia government, Bangladesh has banned the newly formed "Shahadat-e-al-Hikma", a group funded by underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
India, Pak agree to grant visas to new Envoys
Islamabad: Nearly a week after India and Pakistan expelled each other's top diplomats, they have agreed in principle to grant visas to new Deputy High Commissioners appointed by them.
