Dhar: Curfew was relaxed for two hours in entire Dhar city on February 22 morning,
during which no untoward incident was reported, according to district collector
Sanjay Dubey.
Talking to reporters, Dubey said the situation in the trouble-torn town was fast
returning to normal and the relaxation period in the morning passed off peacefully.
Curfew was also relaxed for four hours in Digthan town, while it was relaxed for one
hour each in Amjhera, Rajgarh and Tanda, he said.
So far, police have arrested 300 persons in the aftermath of violence after police
foiled attempts by Hindu Jagran Manch (HJM) activists to enter the disputed
Bhojshala site.
Meanwhile, efforts are being made to release the 44 women arrested by police since
February 18, he added.
