New Delhi: A Sikh militant convicted for the murder of Congress MP Lalit Maken and his wife Geetanjali was on February 24 awarded life sentence by a Delhi court.

Additional Sessions Judge R K Jain also awarded 10 years rigorous imprisonment to Ranjit Singh Gill who was found guilty under section 307 (attempt to murder) of IPC.
