Kuala Lumpur: Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee on February 24 ruled out the
possibility of a meeting with Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf on the sidelines
of the ongoing Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit.
"There is no possibility of a meeting (with Musharraf)," he told Pakistani reporters
shortly after Musharraf's address at the NAM plenary, where he raked up the Kashmir
issue.
Replying to questions by the Indian media as he walked to the conference hall for
his address, Vajpayee described efforts of NAM leaders to arrive at a consensus on
the situation in Iraq as a "positive signal".
"The summit is moving in the right direction, I am happy that a consensus on Iraq is
emerging," he said.
