New Delhi: Enthused by the Assembly poll outcome in Himachal Pradesh, Congress president Sonia Gandhi on march 1 said the results are "most encouraging".

"It is most encouraging. We are very happy," she told reporters after inaugurating a seminar on women empowerment.

Gandhi wanted to be on the "cautious side", waiting for the final results before reacting in detail.
