Kohima: Re-polling at five polling stations of two Assembly segments in remote
Tuensang district of Nagaland began on March 3 morning on a moderate note with no
report of any untoward incident.
While counting for Longlend segment will begin on March 3 evening immediately after
re-polling is over, it will take place on March 4 in Thonoknyu segment.
Meanwhile in Tripura, re-polling in one booth of Jubarajnagar Assembly constituency
began from 07:00 hours (IST) on March 3 amidst tight security, sources in the
Election Department said.
The re-poll was ordered due to mechanical problem in one electronic voting machine
(EVM) during counting. The booth has 649 voters.
