Lucknow: In a major development in the Ayodhya case, Allahabad High Court on March 6 ordered excavation of the disputed site to verify whether or not a temple existed there on which the Babri Mosque was built.

A New Delhi-based Canadian company Tojo India Vikas International (Pvt) Ltd had carried out a detailed study of the site using radars some time back.
