New Delhi: Raghunath scored a brilliant hat-trick as India drubbed Bangladesh 4-1 to win the Asian under-16 boys hockey tournament at Dhaka on Wednesday.

Displaying tremendous skill and stickwork the Indians dominated the proceedings with Pramod Kumar proving a perfect ally to Raghunath.

Baljinder Singh scored the other goal for the visitors who carved out a comfortable victory.

Pramod Kumar was adjudged the player-of-the-final while V Raja was declared the man- of-the-tournament, according to information received here on Thursday.
