Washington: As a possible war on Iraq nears, US President George W Bush will leave
on March 16 for the Azores Islands in Portugal for a summit with British Prime
Minister Tony Blair and Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar.
Bush will confer with the two closest allies of the US to forge a new diplomatic
strategy in the wake of the certain defeat of their second "war" resolution in the
UN Security Council if it is put to vote.
