Navi Mumbai: A minor blast occurred outside the "Vashi Plaza" commercial building at Vashi, near the Mumbai-Pune highway, on March 15, police said.

However, no one was injured.

A two kg gas cylinder, kept in a bag, exploded in the busy market area in sector 17, police said. The cylinder is used for refilling gas in air-conditioners and refrigerators.

Police said a person was noticed holding a bag outside the commercial plaza. However, he was not found at the time of the blast at around 19:00 hours (IST).
