Mumbai: A Central team of National Security Guards (NSG) arrived in Mumbai on March
14 night, undertook the study to ascertain the nature of the explosion that occurred
in a local train compartment on March 13 night, claiming 11 lives, police said.
The team examined the materials used in the blast to determine the nature of the
explosion, police said.
The NSG team, which maintains the records of all blasts reported in various parts of
the country, later left for its headquarter at Delhi on March 15 afternoon, police
added.
Meanwhile, tight vigil was being maintained at important locations like Mantralaya,
airport and railway stations, police said.
