Mumbai: Public sector oil companies have increased retail selling prices of petrol
and diesel by Rs 1.39 to Rs 1.51 and Rs one per litre respectively with effect from
midnight March 15 taking into account the current international prices.
The revised prices of petrol in Delhi and Kolkata is up by Rs 1.39 to Rs 33.49 per
litre and Rs 35 per litre while at Mumbai and Chennai it is increased by Rs 1.51 to
Rs 38.59 per litre and Rs 1.5 to Rs 36.39 per litre respectively, oil companies said
in a release on March 15.
The prices of diesel have risen by 91 paise in Delhi and Kolkata while at Mumbai it
is the highest at Rs 1.09 and Chennai at Rs one, the release said.
