Ranchi: BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) will stake claim to form a coalition government
again in Jharkand.
BJP leader Rajnath Singh said state Welfare Minister Arjun Munda, who has been
elected the leader of the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) legislature party this
evening, will be going to Governor M Rama Jois to stake his claim to form the
government.
He however did not say when the meeting would take place.
Singh said there was no other candidate in the fray to succeed Marandi.
Munda told reporters after he was elected as the leader of the coalition that BJP-led
alliance has a majority and will prove it.
"We have majority and will prove it", he said adding that the BJP-led government only
can give stable leadership in the state.
"We will work for the interests of the state. We will take everyone along," Munda
said.
