New Delhi: A Delhi court on March 22 framed Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA) charges against Aftab Asari in connection with a plot to assassinate President A P J Abdul Kalam and kidnap cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Saurav Ganguly.

Designated judge S N Dhingra also framed charges against two of his associates, Arshad Khan and a woman Anita Dass, in another case for waging war against the state.
