Baghdad: More explosions were heard coming from the outskirts of Baghdad around 18:15 hours GMT (23:45 hours IST) on March 22, according to reports.

It was not immediately clear if the US-led bombing of the city had resumed.

Baghdad came under a 20-minute bombardment just after nightfall on March 22.

Fire from Iraqi anti-aircraft gunners flashed in the sky and loud explosions boomed from the Western outskirts of the city, as the United States and Britain pressed their war to push President Saddam Hussein from power.
