India, Pak troops exchange fire, civilian injured

Poonch (J&K): Indian and Pakistani troops exchanged heavy firing and shelling along the line of control (LoC) and international border (IB) critically injuring a civilian in Poonch district on March 26, official sources said in Jammu.

Pakistani troops fired mortar shells at Bagaildhar, Dhallan, Digwar, Ajote and Khari Kalsian in Poonch around 15:30 hours, they said.

One civilian Mohammad Hussain was critically injured at Ajote village, they said.

Indian troops retaliated and heavy shelling between the two sides was reported.

Small arms firing between the two sides was reported along the LoC at Bhawani sector in Rajouri district and along the international border at Narayanpur in Jammu district on March 25 night, the sources said.
