New Delhi: India's Leander Paes and Czech Republican partner David Rikl defeated
American duo Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan 3-6, 7-6 (7/2), 6-4 to enter the final of the
Nasdaq-100 Open ATP Tennis Masters Series in Miami, Florida, on Friday.
The Indo-Czech pair conceded the first set after failing to convert two break points
but rallied brilliantly staving of three break points in the final set against the
Americans, according to information reaching here on Saturday.
The tie was rescheduled after persistent rain rendered the match a non-starter on
Thursday.
Paes and Rikl will play Belarussian Max Mirnyi, who won last year's US Open doubles
crown with Mahesh Bhupathi, and Swiss star Roger Federer in the final later on
Saturday.
Federer and Mirnyi defeated Fernando Gonzales of Chile and Spaniard Tommy Robredo 6-
3, 6-4 in the other semi-final.
