Bangalore: Karnataka Governor T N Chaturvedi has extended greetings to the people of the state on the eve of Ugadi festival.

"On the auspicious occasion of Sri Swabhanu Samvasthara Ugadi festival, I heartily extend my warm greetings and good wishes to the people of Karnataka," he said.

"May the Swabhanu Samvasthara usher in cheer, peace, prosperity and progress. Let us strive together on this auspicious day and pledge to work together with confidence and equanimity for the betterment of society and for our common good," he said.
