Salman Khan, Vivek Oberoi in war of words
Wednesday, April 2 2003 12:25 Hrs (IST)

Mumbai: Actor Salman Khan has slammed Bollywood's latest star sensation Vivek Oberoi for making wild allegations against him.

The 38-year-old actor, reacting to Vivek's outbursts at a press conference at his Juhu residence on April 1 evening, denied that he had called up Vivek 41 times on the mobile to threaten him.

"I never called him up on his cell phone and this can be checked up with BPL," Salman said.

Sources close to the actor said Salman laughed away Vivek's outbursts against him including having affairs with a number of top actresses, including Aishwarya Rai.

Salman left for London early April 2 morning for outdoor shooting of B R Chopra's 'Baghban'. He will return to the metropolis on April 9, when he will give a detailed reply to the series of allegations levelled against him by Vivek, the sources added.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rai, who is shooting in Nasik for Raj Kumar Santoshi's 'Khaki', did not react to Vivek's comments that she had received abusive messages on her cell phone.
