Pune: Two members of Chhota Rajan gang were arrested on April 3 by police from a lodge in Shivajinagar area of the city.

The duo - Jay Kumar and Alphad Arif Lokhandwala from Mumbai - were staying in the lodge for the last three days, police sources said.

Lokhandwala is accused of making an attempt on the life of a person accused in the Mumbai blast case while Jay Kumar is involved in cases of murder and extortion.

Police said the duo was proceeding back to Mumbai from Bangalore, but changed their plans and stayed in Pune.

They will be handed over to the Mumbai police, sources added.
