Ahmedabad: Police arrested five "ISI trained" youth, who were allegedly sent here to
conduct a series of bomb blasts and execute killings of important personalities in
Gujarat, police officials said on April 4.
City crime branch officials are also probing if they had any links with the killing
of former Gujarat Home and Revenue Minister Haren Pandya last week.
Joint Commissioner of Police (crime) P P Pandey told reporters in Ahmedabad on April
4 that an imported revolver and five cartridges of .32 calibre were seized from the
accused who reportedly confessed that they were trained in the use of arms
explosives at ISI training camps near Karachi in Pakistan.
