Kochi: The Kerala state committee of the Cable TV Operators Association said on
April 8 that it would stop telecasting "Anglo-American" channels for 12 hours on
April 10 protesting against the US-led war on Iraq.
Addressing a press meet at Kerala, E Jayadevan, President, Kerala Cable TV Operators
Association, said their protest would begin at 10 am.
Criticisng the US for its war on Iraq, he said a majority of the "channels are based
at US and a portion of the money earned through these channels goes directly into
the war fund.".
