New Delhi: The main accused in the DDA (Delhi Development Authority) scam, Dharam Bir Khattar, was arrested on April 8 evening from a city hospital, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sources said.

Khattar, who allegedly acted as a conduit and was on the run ever since the CBI carried out raids on March 27, was arrested from the hospital where he was allegedly hiding, they said.

Khattar had applied for an anticipatory bail, which was scheduled to come up for hearing on April 9.
