DDA Scam: CBI admits recovery from accused

New Delhi: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), on April 9 admitted before a Delhi court that it had recovered judicial files from the possession of one of the accused in the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) scam. br>
The matter came to light when additional sessions judge asked CBI counsel whether he had made a memo of all files recovered during raids on the accused persons including judicial files as mentioned in the case diary. br>
The agency's investigating officer admitted the recovery of files and the subsequent memo they had filed. br>
Meanwhile, two other accused in the case Vijay Rishbud and Jagdish Chander, both DDA officials, were produced in court and remanded to CBI custody till April 16 to facilitate their custodial interrogation. br>
