Jammu: Two militants were killed and two others, including an area commander of Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT), arrested in separate incidents in Doda and Rajouri districts of Jammu division where security forces also recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition since April 8 night, official sources said.

Security forces, on a tip off, launched an operation in Banihal area of Doda district on April 9 morning and shot dead two militants in an encounter.

Two AK rifles and some ammunition were recovered from the slain ultras, whose identity is being ascertained, they said.

An area commander of LeT, identified as Nissar Ahmed code Abu Khubeb, surrendered before Border Security Force (BSF) personnel at Ramban in Doda district on April 8, sources said adding he also handed over an AK rifle with its four magazines and 60 rounds and two hand grenades to BSF officials.
