Srinagar: Six pedestrians were injured on April 12 when militants exploded a
grenade, targeting a security patrol, in a crowded bus stand in Anantnag district of
Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.
The grenade missed its target and exploded elsewhere injuring six pedestrians and
triggered panic among the people while the militants escaped, the sources said.
The injured were admitted to a hospital where the condition of two of them was
stated to be serious, they said.
Police and security forces were immediately rushed to the scene and a hunt launched
for the militants.
No militant outfit has yet claimed responsibility for the blast.
