LTTE threatens to scuttle key aid conference
Colombo: Sri Lanka's Tamil tiger rebels said on April 12 that their faith in the Norwegian-backed peace process had been shaken and threatened to scuttle a key conference to bring in foreign aid for war-battered areas.

Kathmandu: Nepalese Prime Minister Lokendra Bahadur Chand has called an all-party meeting on April 13 to discuss formalities relating to holding peace talks with Maoists as political parties indicated they would not participate unless the King restored Democratic rights of the people.
