Ghaziabad: Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has said mental bankruptcy of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati prompted her to file 137 cases against him.

"Mayawati has become mentally bankrupt, so she initiated all these cases in retaliation, but public will not forgive her for her wrong and corrupt deeds," he told reporters in Hapur on April 15.

The SP chief said his party would launch door-to-door campaign against corruption of Mayawati and alliance partner Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
