Jabalpur: Stating that there was no differences between Prime Minister Atal Behari
Vajpayee and his deputy L K Advani over running of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-
led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government, party ideologue K N Govindacharya
on April 18 claimed it was all "voiced by the media".
"Ultimately, Vajpayee's decision prevails," Govindacharya said on April 18 afternoon
after a lunch hosted in his honour by convener of Mahanagar Swadeshi Jagran Manch
Chandra Shekhar Pachouri, former general secretary of BJP.
Referring to forthcoming Assembly elections in four states – Madhya Pradesh, Delhi,
Rajasthan and Chattisgarh, Govindacharya said at present the prospects of Congress
and BJP were almost similar.
However, he said in Delhi, Congress was in a slightly better position than BJP.
In Rajasthan, he said Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot must try to organise Congress in a
better manner.
To a query, he said in Chattisgarh, Chief Minister Ajit Jogi had unnecessarily
created a host of enemies, wherein BJP leader Dilipsingh Judeo had a clean and
honest slate.
