New Delhi: Preliminary reports have shown that a New Zealand national, undergoing
treatment in Ram Manohar Lohia hospital in Delhi, has tested positive for SARS
(Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), Health Ministry sources said.
Hundred per cent sequencing of his blood is being carried out to ascertain the
genetic character of the virus for final conclusion and results are likely by April
19 night, sources said.
The patient is recuperating fast and now shows no signs of fever, they
added.
