India-west Mumbai: Anil Parab, a close associate of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, was remanded to police custody till April 29 by a local court on April 21 for his alleged involvement in several criminal cases, including murder.

Parab, who had been absconding, was holed up in Dubai and was deported on April 20 following request by the Indian government.
