No force can stop Ram temple construction: VHP

Thiruvananthapuram: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) international working president Ashok Singhal on April 23 said no force can stop the
construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya.
Addressing a reception organised by VHP, he said the VHP had waited for a long time for the temple and many hurdles had come in the
way. "Now no force can prevent us from constructing the temple," he said.
Referring to the ongoing excavation at the Ayodhya, he said proofs of existence of a temple would certainly be acquired from the site.
Many such proofs had been unearthed from there earlier, he added.
Singhal said the concept of secularism was being used to appease the minority communities and harass the Hindus. The country should
shed this kind of secularism, he said.
Advocating a strong "hindutva" line, he said India should be declared as a Hindu rashtra.
Political parties taking an anti-hindutva stand would be taught a befitting lesson in the next Parliamentary elections, he said.
Singhal exhorted Hindus to protect the tradition, culture and values cherished by generations in the country.
"Communists, Muslims and Christians constituted the anti-Hindu force in Kerala and they were jointly targeting Hindus in the name of
secularism," he alleged.
"Crores of Rupees are being pumped into the state for conversion activities. If Hindus did not open their eyes, it will be too late," he
said.
