Truckers likely to call off indefinite stir soon

New Delhi: Agitating truckers are expected to call off their indefinite strike on the 10th day on April 23 following "amicable talks" with the government.

After a couple of rounds of discussions with Road Transport Minister B C Khanduri, General Secretary of All India Motor Transport Congress, which spearheaded the agitation, J M Saksena said, "government has agreed to nine of our 10 demands... we will make a formal announcement to call off the agitation soon."
