Sunday, April 27 2003 19:19 Hrs (IST)

Lahore: Prime Minister Zafarullah Khan Jamali said on April 27 that Pakistan will announce a strategy for starting talks with India soon.

"We have already welcomed (Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari) Vajpayee's offer. We will announce a strategy for talks with India within two or three days,'' Jamali told reporters near Pakistan's Eastern city of Lahore.

Jamali's comments were in response to Vajpayee's recent offer of friendship with Pakistan.
