Four Hizbul militants killed in encounter in JK

Srinagar: Four pro-Pakistan Hizbul Mujahideen militants were on April 27 killed in an encounter with Army in Baramulla district of North Kashmir.

The exchange of fire took place in the jungles of East Watlab area, when Army personnel on a tip off launched a search operation, a defence spokesman said.

The gun battle lasted for about seven hours, in which the militants were killed, he said.
