Security forces gun down six militants in J&K

Srinagar: Six militants were killed in two separate encounters with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir, where two boys being forced to
join militancy were rescued from the clutches of ultras, an official spokesman said on April 27.
Four pro-Pakistan Hizbul Mujahideen militants were killed in an encounter with Army in Baramulla district of North Kashmir on April
27.
The exchange of fire took place in the jungles of East Watlab area when Army personnel on a tip-off launched a search operation, a
Defence spokesman said.
The gunbattle lasted for about seven hours in which the militants were killed, he said.
Two militants, both residents of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), were killed in a fire-fight that broke out at Gowran-Larnow in Kokernag
area of Anantnag district, the spokesman said.
